North Pointe Student Ministry
The youth meet across from the hangar on the 2nd floor in the Faith Hall. They discuss relevant Bible truths and how it intersects with their daily lives.
Sunday for Youth
North Pointe Students gather in the Family Life Center (also known as the Gym Lobby) every Sunday from 9:30am until 10:30am. Our current course of study is following the North Pointe course of reading through the Bible, teaching at relevant signposts along the way.
Wednesday Nights
Every Wednesday evening, our youth gather together in the Family Life Center (the area with the gym) from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Our aim is to invite every person into the group without conditions. People are accepted as they are and welcome to leave the same if they wish. While students are with us, our adults pour their lives into them selflessly. Our current course of study is walking through the Fruits of the Spirit, understanding that God creates them in us when we are connected to him as the True Vine.
Youth Band
The youth band serves the youth program both in and outside of the church. It is comprised of students who have identified themselves as people with teachability, time, and dedication to the art of leading worship.
We play during the Wednesday evening North Pointe Students meeting. If you have a desire to play or to learn to play, please contact Damien to get plugged in today! We also supplement the North Pointe worship band on Sundays. If you are a student and would like to serve on Sundays, the Youth Band is a great entry point for training and practice times.
Launch Pointe
know. It’s a cheesy name. But I like it. Launch Pointe is the opportunity for our students to spend a few hours every Tuesday serving people the way that Jesus commanded by feeding, clothing, and comforting people who are incapable of doing so for themselves. We open the doors for students to come into the Family Life Center (the Lobby next to the Gym) at 4pm.
Some Tuesdays will be spent stuffing backpacks with food for underserved children, and others will find us cooking for some of our neighbors who might do well to have an extra meal prepared for the week. Some days we will take a field trip and help someone clean their home.
We will also have some projects around the church that will need some attention. We love Jesus. We love people.
We serve both with our Tuesday nights from 4pm to 7:30pm.
